Research Peptides UK

Every line below is released against a written analytical specification and ships with the certificate of analysis for its batch. Purity by reversed-phase HPLC, identity by mass spectrometry, water content by Karl Fischer titration — measured on the material you receive, not on a reference sample.

For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use, and not a medicine, food or cosmetic. Sold to qualified researchers and institutions who accept responsibility for safe handling and lawful use.

Buying research peptides in the UK

Sourcing research grade peptides in the UK comes down to one question: can the supplier show you what they measured on the batch you are being sent? A purity percentage on a product page is a claim. A certificate of analysis carrying the batch code printed on your vial, with the method named and the observed mass stated against theoretical, is evidence.

Ryzen releases every batch against a written specification before it is offered for sale. Purity is determined by gradient reversed-phase HPLC with UV detection at 214 nm, which is where the peptide bond absorbs and therefore where every peptide species in the sample is visible. Identity is confirmed by electrospray mass spectrometry against the theoretical mass for the sequence. Water content is measured by Karl Fischer titration, because residual moisture affects both stability and the concentration you calculate from vial weight.

Material that falls outside specification is rejected rather than sold at a lower grade. Where an oxidised or related species is present at release it is reported as its own line on the certificate instead of being folded into a single figure.

What ships with an order

Every consignment carries the certificate for its batch, matched to the vial. Peptides are supplied lyophilised and sealed, packed with the handling notes for that compound where it needs them — the oxidation-sensitive lines, the hygroscopic ones, and the two that need a DMSO stock rather than aqueous reconstitution. Orders placed before 14:00 on a working day leave the same day, tracked.

Who we supply

Universities, hospital research groups, contract research organisations, analytical laboratories and companies doing product development work. We do not supply individuals for personal use, and nothing in this catalogue is a medicine or fit for human or veterinary use.

Common questions

What does research grade mean?
It means material released against a written analytical specification for laboratory use — purity by RP-HPLC, identity by mass spectrometry, water content by Karl Fischer — and documented on a batch certificate. It does not mean pharmaceutical grade, and it is not released to any standard that would support use in humans or animals.
Do you ship research peptides across the UK?
Yes. Orders placed before 14:00 on a working day are dispatched the same day on a tracked service. We ship to research addresses, universities, laboratories and registered businesses across the United Kingdom.
Is a certificate of analysis included?
Yes, with every order, matched to the batch code printed on the vial. Certificates can also be looked up at any time using the batch verification page.
Can I buy research peptides as an individual?
No. We supply researchers, laboratories and institutions. Orders that indicate personal use are refused, and nothing we sell is a medicine or fit for human use.
What purity do you release at?
Most peptide lines are released at not less than 99.0% area-percent by RP-HPLC; a small number of longer sequences and the non-peptide compounds are specified at not less than 98.0%. The specification for each line is stated on its product page and the measured figure on its certificate.
