Water content is measured by Karl Fischer titration, because residual moisture affects both stability and the concentration you calculate from vial weight.

Material that falls outside specification is rejected rather than sold at a lower grade. Where an oxidised or related species is present at release it is reported as its own line on the certificate instead of being folded into a single figure.
