European supply

Research peptides, shipped across Europe

Dispatched from the UK on a tracked courier with customs documentation prepared properly. The transit times below are what we actually see rather than what the courier advertises, and the batch certificate travels with the goods.

Lead times

What transit actually looks like

Measured from dispatch, excluding time held at customs. We would rather quote a range you can plan around than a best case you cannot.

DestinationTransit from dispatchService

Denmark, Sweden, Austria, Czechia, Poland3–5 working daysTracked courier

Ranges reflect our own delivery data. Customs processing is outside our control and can add time in either direction; a consignment with correct documentation is rarely held long.

Crossing the border

How we handle customs

Since the UK left the EU, a shipment either has correct paperwork or it has a problem. This is the part suppliers tend not to write down.

Accurate commercial invoice

Every consignment carries a commercial invoice describing the material as research chemicals for laboratory use, with the correct commodity code and declared value. We do not under-declare or mis-describe goods, which is the fastest way to have a shipment seized.

Certificate travels with the goods

The batch certificate is included in the consignment documentation. Where customs asks what the material is, the paperwork answers it.

Duties and import VAT

Shipments leave the UK on a delivered-at-place basis. Import duty and VAT in the destination country are the importer's responsibility, and the courier will collect them before delivery. EU businesses with a valid VAT number are invoiced under the reverse-charge procedure.

Restricted destinations

Some compounds cannot lawfully be imported into some territories. Where we know a line is restricted for your destination we will say so before taking payment rather than after the shipment is detained.

Import compliance is the buyer's responsibility. Rules on research chemicals differ by country and change. Before ordering into a territory you have not imported into before, check what is permitted there. We will tell you what we know, but we cannot advise on the law in your jurisdiction.

Do you ship research peptides to Europe?
Yes, from the UK to research addresses across the EU, plus Switzerland and Norway under the non-EU customs procedure. Orders leave the same working day when placed before 14:00 and travel on a tracked courier service.
Has Brexit made UK to EU shipping difficult?
It added a customs step rather than a barrier. The practical difference is that documentation matters more than it did: a consignment with an accurate commercial invoice and the correct commodity code clears normally, and one without gets held. Ours are prepared properly as a matter of course.
Who pays import duty and VAT?
The importer. Shipments are sent delivered-at-place, so the courier collects any duty and import VAT in the destination country before delivery. This is standard for UK-to-EU commercial shipments and worth budgeting for.
Will cold-chain material survive the transit time?
Lyophilised peptides are shipped at ambient temperature and are stable for the duration of transit — that is the whole point of supplying them dry. On arrival they should go to −20 °C promptly. Nothing in the catalogue requires refrigerated transport.
What if a shipment is held at customs?
Send us the reference and we will supply whatever the authority is asking for. Most holds are resolved with the certificate and a clarification of the commodity code. If a consignment is ultimately refused entry for a reason on our side, we refund it.
Can EU institutions order on purchase-order terms?
Yes. Institutional accounts across the EU can be set up with 30-day terms against a purchase order, the same as UK institutions. Apply through the trade account route.
