Payment
How payment works
Card payment is not enabled on this site. Place an order and an account manager emails a proforma invoice with bank transfer details, together with confirmation of stock against your lines. Nothing is charged at the point of ordering and no card details are collected anywhere.
This is a deliberate interim arrangement rather than an oversight: card acquiring for research chemicals takes weeks to underwrite, and we would rather trade properly on proforma terms than misrepresent what the site can do. Institutions and established trade accounts order on 30-day purchase-order terms instead.
VAT
Prices are quoted ex VAT throughout. UK VAT at the prevailing rate is added to UK deliveries. EU business customers with a valid VAT number are invoiced under the reverse-charge procedure. Other exports carry no UK VAT, and import duty and local VAT are payable by the importer on arrival.

Questions
Delivery and payment
- When will my order be dispatched?
- Orders placed before 14:00 on a working day are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after the cut-off, or at a weekend, go out on the next working day.
- How is material packaged?
- Vials are sealed with an inert headspace and packed in rigid protective packaging with the batch documentation. Outer packaging is plain and carries no description of the contents beyond what customs requires.
- Do peptides need cold shipping?
- No. Lyophilised material is stable at ambient temperature for the duration of transit, which is one of the reasons it is supplied dry. On arrival it should go to −20 °C promptly. Nothing in the catalogue requires refrigerated transport.
- How does payment work?
- Card payment is not enabled yet. Place the order and an account manager emails a proforma invoice with bank transfer details and confirms stock against your lines. No card details are collected anywhere on this site.
- Can institutions pay on account?
- Yes. Institutions and established trade accounts can order on 30-day terms against a purchase order, with the PO number carried through to the invoice.
- What if something arrives damaged?
- Tell us within five working days with the order reference and a photograph. Damaged material is replaced. If a vial is intact but you have doubts about the fill, quote the batch code and we will send the packing record.
