What belongs on a certificate
A certificate of analysis records what was measured on one batch of material. Its defining property is that it is batch-specific: the code on the document matches the code on the vial, and the figures were produced from that material rather than from a reference sample or a previous run.
Ours carry the purity figure with the method and detection wavelength named, the observed mass against theoretical with the convention stated, water content by Karl Fischer, residual counter-ion, appearance against a reference description, the release date and retest interval, and the chromatographic trace itself rather than only a number derived from it.

Common questions
- What is a peptide certificate of analysis?
- A factual record of the tests run on one specific batch: which methods were used, on what date, and what the results were. It applies to that batch only. A document describing what a compound should meet, with no batch code and no measured values, is a specification sheet rather than a certificate.
- How do I find the certificate for my vial?
- Enter the batch code printed on the vial label into the lookup above. Every released batch is published here, so the code returns the same document that shipped with your order.
- What if my batch code returns nothing?
- Check the code against the label first — the format is RYZ, then a compound abbreviation, then a six-digit release reference. If it still does not resolve, send us the code and we will trace it. A code that does not resolve on a vial supplied by us is something we want to know about.
- Why are certificates published rather than sent on request?
- Because release data you can only see after paying is not much use for deciding whether to pay. Publishing the library means you can read the actual figures for current stock before ordering.
